Invisalign treatment uses a series of virtually invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that allow you to smile more during treatment. Invisalign clear aligners are made with 3D computer imaging technology and our office uses digital scanning technology to make sure the impressions are as accurate and comfortable as possible. While more than 70% of orthodontists in the US are certified to administer Invisalign treatment, Dr. Bond attends Invisalign seminars, attends study groups, and is a member of multiple associations to treat your invisalign case with expert detail and fantastic results.
ClearBond Aligners
Bond Aligners are our in-house clear aligners option. Bond Aligners come with a few advantages over Invisalign. They are made in-house using our 3D printing technology after using our digital scanner to get high-quality impressions. So if you ever need a replacement aligner or adjustment, we can print them in our office and do not need to wait for shipping.
Not only are the aligners virtually invisible while wearing them, they are removable, so it is possible to eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, you can take them out for brushing and flossing. They are normally more comfortable than traditional braces, with no metal or wires, which also usually means you spend less time in your orthodontist office getting fewer adjustments.
Itero Digital Scanner
The iTero Element Scanner is a state-of-the-art digital scanning system that takes one of the most accurate digital scans of our Charlotte NC patient's teeth, but it also eliminates the need for sometimes uncomfortable alginate or gooey impressions - no more need for messy putty in your mouth! With Bond Orthodontics iTero Scanner, we can digitally capture a detailed, 3D model of your teeth and gums. Not only is an iTero Element digital scan far more comfortable than the older alginate based impressions, but it’s faster and provides more precise images.
